Clinical Services Manager – Luxury Care & Nursing Home
Location: South East England
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: £65,000+ per annum + up to 25% performance bonus
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Services Manager to join a luxury care and nursing home setting within the South East of England. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of outstanding residential and nursing care, maintaining robust clinical governance, and embedding truly person-centred support for all residents.
You will lead and inspire the clinical and care teams, ensuring high standards of practice, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all areas of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of high-quality residential and nursing care
- Maintain oversight of all clinical nursing requirements and work closely with senior leadership on complex care planning
- Lead the assessment and care planning process, ensuring all documentation is accurate, person-centred, and regularly reviewed
- Manage, support, and develop the care team through supervisions, appraisals, performance management, and coaching
- Ensure full compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks
- Oversee daily clinical operations, including staffing levels, skill mix, and safe service delivery
- Lead on clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance activity
- Manage rotas, budgets, recruitment, and effective resource allocation
- Implement and maintain safe medication management systems, including audits, staff training, and liaison with external healthcare professionals
- Carry out clinical and environmental audits in line with the compliance programme and implement action plans where required
- Act as a resident advocate, ensuring safeguarding, mental capacity, and liberty considerations are appropriately managed.
- Support infection prevention and control initiatives and participate in clinical governance groups (e.g., falls prevention, medication safety)
Skills & Experience
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration – essential
- Proven leadership and management experience within a care home or nursing environment
- Strong knowledge of elderly care, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in relevant clinical or care disciplines
