The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our leading Clinical Negligence team working from our Nottingham office. 

The role will be working with and supporting the experienced fee-earners on sometimes large and complex Clinical Negligence cases.  Duties will include providing important and detailed support on cases by preparing, scheduling and organising relevant documentation, assisting senior fee earners in investigation and progression of their cases, as well as dealing with client enquiries both by phone and in person.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a legal or medical environment within a Litigation team and will preferably have Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence experience.  Ideally, you will have a Law Degree with a minimum grade of a 2.1 or be working towards level 6 Cilex.  Candidates must have good organisational and time management skills and high attention to detail.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.  You should process good IT skills and be dedicated to client care.

We welcome applications from candidates who are already working as paralegals in this field, as well as from motivated individuals keen to develop expertise in children law. The role requires empathy, adaptability, and the ability to approach problems rationally and decisively. Please note that the position is not expected to involve advocacy at this stage.
