What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and supporting clients using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or similar
- Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns and day-to-day cloud accounting support
- Preparing management accounts for a range of clients
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
- Supporting clients with system queries and helping improve their finance processes
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and support their finance function
- Supporting senior team members on a variety of assignments
- Helping clients move towards more efficient, digitally focused ways of working
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud accounting software is essential
- At least three years’ experience within an accountancy practice
- Studying AAT or ACCA, or completed AAT
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts
- Detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn
- Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach
