We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Estimator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Woking.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong machining background who enjoys working closely with customers, reviewing technical drawings, and producing accurate quotations for complex CNC machined components.

The Role

• Review customer enquiries, drawings and specifications.
• Prepare accurate quotations for CNC machined components.
• Calculate machining times, material costs and tooling requirements.
• Liaise with customers to clarify technical requirements.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quotes are commercially competitive and technically accurate.
• Support business development by providing prompt responses to customer enquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Estimator, CNC Programmer, Manufacturing Estimator, or a Senior CNC Machinist looking to move into estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of CNC milling and/or turning processes.
• Knowledge of machining methods, tooling and manufacturing costs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
