We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Setter for a busy client based in Daventry.

Hours of work: 16:00pm - 02:15am

Duties will include:

• Setting and programming CNC Milling machines

• Operate CNC milling and ensuring accurate cutting, drilling, and shaping of metal or plastic parts.
• Monitor Machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
• Running the machine in line with he speeds and feeds called up by the programs and monitor performance
• Multi manning when necessary to support the performance & utilisation of our resources when machinery and suitable product types enable you to do so.
• Ensure good and professional communication is maintained with your opposite machinist or supervisor during shift handover.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace by ensuring a continuation of 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Systemise, Sustain).
• Work as part of a strong team, willing to fulfil other tasks and additional duties when requested.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience and CNC Machine Setter
• Background working in an environment where attention to detail is important
• Automotive or other batch control industry experience
• Prior experience using measuring equipment
• FANUC and Heidenhain controls
• Engineering background (preferred)
