Established over 150 years ago, this engineering business has become a critical supplier to a number of high-profile industries, including Rail, Defence and Nuclear. Today, they employ close to 600 people across their facilities and are experiencing a fast-growing order book, which has resulted in significant investment (around £5m!) which will increase their production capacity and output.

E3 Recruitment are actively recruiting 2x CNC Machinist vacancies, the successful candidates will join this employer on a permanent basis.

For the CNC Machinist, we are searching for individuals who possess:

• IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within a Mechanical Engineering or Machining focused subject (Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HND, HNC etc.) - candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered
• A strong level of experience and stable career spent working in a similar role, such as Miller, Turner, Programmer, Setter/Operator etc.
• The ability to program of edit programs - all machine controls considered (Fanuc, HAAS, Heidenhain, Siemens, Hurco, ProtoTrak, Mazatrol etc.)
• IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Previous experience working on Mill-Turn machining centres

Working Hours of the CNC Machinist:
40 Hours per week, spread across a 4-day pattern

• Monday to Thursday - 06:00 to 16:00
• All breaks paid - you are paid for the entire shift
• Overtime available on Fridays - paid at 150%

In return, the CNC Machinist will receive:

• Starting Salary: £38,480.00 (£18.50 per hour) - rising to £42,640.00 (£20.50 per hour) after initial settling in period
• Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidays
• Company Pension: Statutory (8% combined contributions)
• Permanent employment with a fast-growing organisation
