CNC Machinist

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading Rotherham based manufacturer to recruit experienced CNC Machinists with strong experience in CNC Milling or CNC Turning. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business and the chance to work on high precision components in a modern CNC machining environment. 

Shift: Days & Nights 
Salary: £39,700 
Location: Rotherham 

Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist : 

• Set and Operate CNC machines using Fanuc or Siemens controls 
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances
• Follow production schedules and complete all relevant production documentation 
• Ensure finished components meet  tolerances and quality specifications 
• Use a range of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and gauges

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship trained or time served in a relevant discipline 
• Experience in CNC Milling or CNC Turning 
• Proven experience working in a precision CNC Machining environment 
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Fanuc controls 
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
