This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global manufacturer within a skilled Toolroom environment. Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you'll be responsible for manufacturing new tooling, maintaining existing tooling and supporting production operations with high-quality precision engineering solutions.

Location - Beccles, Suffolk
Hours - Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-13:00
Salary - £37,405.55 per annum

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture new tooling and ancillary components using a variety of machine tools and equipment
- Maintain and repair existing tooling to support production requirements
- Carry out CNC milling and turning activities to produce high-quality components
- Work accurately from engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Produce components to tight tolerances and high-quality finish requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment to inspect and verify completed work
- Support production teams with tooling and engineering-related requirements
- Ensure all work meets required quality and workmanship standards
- Adhere to Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures at all times
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the Toolroom
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support operational efficiencies
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within a machining, toolmaking or precision engineering environment
- Milling and turning experience
- CNC machining experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Strong engineering and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Toolmaking experience
- Hurco control experience
- Fanuc control experience
- Toolroom environment experience
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent training
