CNC Machinist – Day Shift
HSM Engineering Ltd – Nottingham (Junction 26)

HSM Engineering is expanding and we’re looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team on a permanent day shift. If you’re confident in setting and operating CNC machines and enjoy producing high-quality precision components, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• Set and operate CNC machines across Haas 3-axis, 5-axis, turn/mill and turning platforms

• Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances

• Perform in-process inspection and ensure quality standards are met

• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficient workflow

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience setting and operating CNC machinery

• Confident working with Haas controls

• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings

• A proactive, reliable team player with good attention to detail

• Aerospace or precision engineering experience beneficial
