We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join an established team within the Manufacturing sector. This permanent role, based in Motherwell, focuses on delivering precision machining to meet production standards and requirements.

Description

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce components to precise specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet required standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimise machining processes and reduce waste.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or production processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the workplace.

Profile

A successful CNC Machinist should have:

  • Proven experience working with CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong milling experience, or both milling and turning with the ability to programme.
  • Strong knowledge of technical drawings and machining processes.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Problem-solving skills to address equipment or production challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from £49000 to £52,500, depending on experience.
