We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable Bentley dealership in Liss, Hampshire, for a skilled CNC Machinist. Duties:
  • Operate CNC machines, including Haas CNC ST-30Y turning centres and Bridgeport VMC 800 Mill with Heidenhain controls
  • Set, programme, and calibrate CNC machinery to produce intricate automotive components
  • Create and validate CNC programs using SolidWorks and CAMWorks
  • Support engineering by developing fixtures and machining solutions
  • Conduct first-off inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Maintain raw materials, tooling, and fixtures to ensure efficient production
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues to minimise downtime
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimise manufacturing processes
  • Assist with cost estimation and process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, or Operator in precision machining
  • Proficiency in Haas, Heidenhain, SolidWorks, and CAMWorks software
  • Experience machining castings and forgings is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and adapt to project needs
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within the automotive or high-precision engineering sector
