CNC Machinist

We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Machinists to join a well-established and growing precision engineering company.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled CNC professionals looking for a long-term, permanent position within a modern machining environment working on a wide variety of precision-engineered components.

We are keen to speak with candidates from a range of machining backgrounds including CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Programmer/Setter/Operators, Setter/Operators and experienced Operators looking to develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC machines
• Programming or editing programmes where applicable
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing high-quality precision components
• Using measuring equipment to inspect finished parts
• Working to tight tolerances
• Maintaining excellent quality and safety standards

Experience Required

We are interested in candidates with experience in any of the following:

• CNC Milling
• CNC Turning
• CNC Programming
• Setting and Operating CNC machinery
• Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls (or similar)
• Manual inspection using micrometers, verniers and gauges
• Manufacturing or precision engineering environments

Experience machining a variety of materials would be advantageous but is not essential.
