Position Summary:
Responsible for the safe day-to-day running of an allocated machine and to ensure that all manufacturing targets are achieved.
Duties & Responsiblities:
- CNC milling
- CNC turning
- Product components with agreed cycle times, confirm specifications listed on drawings, and satisfy all internal quality control measures
- Use inspection equipment (vernier, micrometer, PI tape, CMM and inspection arms)
- Use forklift trucks as required to collect and return material
- Conduct daily maintenance checks on allocated machinery
- Complete minor maintenance to allocated machinery
Person:
- Recently qualified apprentice
- Experienced in CNC turning and milling
- Has experience of working to diameters of up to 2.3 meters
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
