Monday to Thursday | 7:00am – 5:00pm | Up to £22.00 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer for an experienced CNC & Manual Universal Grinder to join their skilled machining team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work a 4-day working week, producing high-quality precision components in a modern manufacturing environment.

The Role:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual universal grinding machines.
• Grind precision components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Inspect finished components using a range of measuring equipment.
• Carry out machine adjustments and routine maintenance as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience operating CNC and manual universal grinding machines.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident reading engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
