CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator

A leading engineering business is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator to produce precision turned components for the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme, set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathe machines using FANUC controls.

  • Produce components to customer drawings and specifications.

  • Create offline and online CNC programmes.

  • Use Edgecam software/programming, where applicable.

  • Inspect own work against drawings and SPC requirements.

  • Maintain a high standard of 5C/5S within the working area.

What You’ll Bring

  • Completed recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.

  • Fully skilled CNC machining experience.

  • Strong experience with FANUC controls.

  • Solid aerospace industry experience.

  • Experience with CNC Mill/Turn machinery.

  • Ability to read and work accurately from engineering drawings.

  • Good attention to quality and detail.

Desirable Experience

  • Edgecam software/programming.

  • Nakamura machines with bar feed.

Location: Poole, UK

Salary: £20 - £21.90
