We’re recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established engineering business offering both day and night shifts. This is a high-earning opportunity for a skilled machinist who is confident setting and/or programming CNC milling machines within a precision engineering environment.
The company is continuing to grow and is looking to add a reliable CNC Miller to its production team. Whether your background is more heavily focused on setting, programming, or a combination of both, this role offers long-term stability, excellent earning potential, and the opportunity to work within a modern and well-equipped workshop.

This position would suit a hands-on CNC Miller who enjoys precision work, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient production output.
Role Overview As a CNC Miller, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Setting and/or programming CNC milling machines to produce precision components
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications
  • Carrying out first-off and in-process inspection checks using measuring equipment
  • Adjusting offsets, tooling, and programmes to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Supporting production targets while maintaining high standards
  • Producing components to tight tolerances
  • Maintaining clean, organised, and safe working areas
What They’re Looking For The business is keen to speak with candidates who have experience working as a CNC Miller within precision manufacturing.
You’ll ideally have:
  • Proven CNC milling experience
  • Ability to set and/or programme CNC milling machines
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings
  • Experience working to tight tolerances
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A reliable and proactive approach
The following would also be beneficial:
  • Experience with Fanuc, Mazak, or similar controls
  • Offline programming experience
  • Background within high-precision or high-volume manufacturing
