Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components
- Working from engineering drawings, CAD data, and production documentation
- Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Adjusting offsets and tooling to maintain tight tolerances
- Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and gauges
- Ensuring components meet customer quality standards and delivery requirements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Confident using inspection equipment
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak, Siemens, or similar controls
- 3, 4, or 5-axis milling experience
- Experience machining materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, or exotic alloys
- Engineering apprenticeship or time-served background
