We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded precision engineering and manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Setter to join their evening shift.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller to join a specialist engineering environment, working on precision components where quality, accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
The Role
As a CNC Miller Setter, you will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Setting tools, offsets and workholding
- Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings
- Producing high-precision components to specification
- Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks
- Making machine adjustments where required
- Working to tight tolerances and maintaining high-quality standards
- Supporting efficient production across the evening shift
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Miller Setter
- Strong CNC milling setting experience
- Good understanding of tooling, offsets and workholding
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail
- A quality-focused approach to your work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
