A well-established engineering business in Christchurch is looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join their team.
This is a varied role for someone who wants to broaden their skill set, rather than simply setting and operating the same machine every day.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Set, operate, edit and program CNC milling machines
  • Work with Fanuc controls
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Carry out first-off, final and sample inspections
  • Make programme and offset adjustments where required
  • Support with deburring and finishing
  • Assist with turning work when needed
  • Work closely with the wider team to maintain quality and production standards
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Editor/Programmer
  • Experience with Fanuc
  • Confident setting and operating CNC milling machinery
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings, tooling and machining processes
  • Someone with a good attitude and a team-focused approach
  • A willingness to get involved across different areas of the workshop
