Cnc Miller

We are recruiting an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy precision engineering manufacturer producing high-quality components for a variety of industries.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled CNC Operator, CNC Miller or CNC Machinist with experience operating CNC milling machines within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Perform quality inspections using callipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment
• Make routine machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Complete production work safely and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety

Required Experience

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Operator or CNC Machinist
• Experience operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience producing components to tight tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Confident using precision measuring equipment

Desirable Experience

• Experience using Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Heidenhain or Mazatrol controls
• Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Knowledge of precision engineering processes
