CNC Miller (Nights) in Ecclesfield, Sheffield

We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Miller (NIGHTSHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: £23.70 starting rate, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain conrols.
- Editing and proving out CNC programs when required.
- Working from detailed engineering drawings.
- Selecting tooling and setting machine offsets.
- Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.
- Conducting first-off and in-process inspections.
- Using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.
- Working efficiently to meet production schedules.
Requirements
- Previous CNC milling experience.
- Experience setting and operating CNC machining centres.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong inspection and measurement skills.
- Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls advantageous.
- Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift.
