CNC Miller – Night Shift

South Kirkby | £18.60–£21.00 per hour (inc. 20% night shift uplift) | Permanent | Nights

A globally recognised business in South Kirkby that designs and builds bespoke staging, set pieces and stage machinery for the live entertainment industry is recruiting a CNC Miller for its night shift.

The precision components you’ll be machining end up on stages at some of the world’s biggest concerts, tours and live events — making this a genuinely interesting and varied role that’s hard to find in a standard machine shop environment.

The Role

• Setting and operating CNC Milling machines to produce precision components

• Programming at the machine where applicable

• Working to tight tolerances on bespoke entertainment structures and set pieces

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Carrying out in-process inspection to keep quality consistently high

• Keeping a clean, safe and well-organised work area throughout

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines

• Confident working from engineering drawings

• Fanuc controls preferred — other control experience will be considered

• Fusion 360 knowledge is a bonus

• Happy working nights independently and self-sufficiently
