A well-established manufacturing business based in Nottingham is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role working with Fanuc machinery, offering a salary of £35,000 to £39,000 depending on experience, with potential for candidates with 5+ years' experience to discuss rates of £18–£19 per hour.
The successful candidate will join a tight-knit team and contribute to precision engineering work where technical skill, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme and set up CNC milling machines using Fanuc control systems.
- Produce precision-engineered components to technical drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling and establish suitable feeds and speeds for milling operations.
- Check components to ensure they meet required quality and dimensional standards.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
- Work effectively as part of a close-knit manufacturing team.

Preferred Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Miller Programmer Setter.
- Strong proficiency with Fanuc machinery and control systems.

- Reliable and able to work flexibly across the shift patterns offered.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent CNC machining qualification.
- Formal training or certification in Fanuc programming.
- Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing or assembly environment.
