The Role
You'll be responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC milling machinery to manufacture high-precision components from engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming and operating CNC milling machines
- Manufacturing components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods
- Ensuring all work meets customer specifications and quality standards
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a CNC Miller
- Strong programming and machining knowledge
- Ability to work from technical engineering drawings
- Good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances
- Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive, reliable and proactive attitude
- Heidenhain control experience would be advantageous
