We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Miller & Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC milling machines to produce precise components according to technical specifications. Your expertise in machining, programming, and mechanical processes will be essential in ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CAD/CAM software, and hands-on experience with tooling and assembly processes. AM and PM Shifts (rotating)

Duties

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines to produce complex parts with precision and efficiency
  • Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as SolidWorks
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate machining
  • Perform grinding, welding, and assembly tasks as needed to complete finished components
  • Maintain proper tooling, fixtures, and machine calibration for optimal performance
  • Conduct quality inspections using hand tools and measurement devices to verify tolerances
  • Support the setup and adjustment of machines for plastics injection molding components
  • Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting during production
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Programmer in a manufacturing or engineering setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and fixture setup
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience with grinding, welding, assembly, and the use of power tools
  • Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus
  • Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering specifications accurately
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
  • Knowledge of hand tools, tooling selection, and maintenance procedures
