The Role

As a CNC Miller / Programmer, you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to manufacture high-precision components to exacting standards.

You'll work across a range of modern 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres, programming directly at the machine for standard work, with offline CAD/CAM support available for more complex projects.

This is a role that offers variety, technical challenge and the opportunity to continue developing your skills within a supportive engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Working with Heidenhain and Siemens controls
• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Conducting quality checks and self-inspection
• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
• Supporting continuous improvement across the machine shop

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Programmer
• Ability to programme, set and operate independently
• Experience with Heidenhain and/or Siemens controls
• Experience working on 3, 4 or 5-axis machining centres
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• A positive, proactive approach and pride in producing quality work

Shift Pattern

Rotating three-shift system:

• 06:00 - 14:00 (Monday to Friday)
• 14:00 - 22:00 (Monday to Friday)
• 20:00 - 06:00 (4-night working week)

Flexibility can be discussed on an individual basis for the right candidate.
