CNC Miller – Setter/Operator (Heidenhain Controls)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller – Setter/Operator to join our precision engineering team. The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls to produce high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.

• Produce precision-machined components to tight tolerances.

• Select and change tooling as required.

• Carry out first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.

• Make tool wear and offset adjustments as required.

• Ensure all work meets customer quality standards.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator.

• Experience using Heidenhain controls.

• Ability to set machines and make offsets.

• Experience working to tight tolerances.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

• Competent in using precision measuring equipment.
