We have a great opportunity with an established and growing family run business who design and manufacture high quality products for a range of commercial environments. They work with leading partners and are able to separate their products from their competition by manufacturing on-site.
Joining an expanding team with ambitious growth plans, you will be setting up and operating HOMAG machinery, producing components using nesting techniques. This will be high-precision, and will require strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set-up of CNC Machinery
- Running nested based production for MFC Panels, laminates and veneer’s
- Loading and unloading sheets and monitoring machining cycles
- Maintenance checks and housekeeping
- Assist with flat-pack furniture assembly
- 5 years + experience within CNC machinery (ideally Anderson and or HOMAG machines)
- Understanding of nesting workflows and sheet optimisation
- Any previous industry experience within the furniture or joinery industry would be beneficial
- Understanding of CAD/CAM software would be nice to have
