We're looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment, working on both production components and development projects.
The Role
- Set and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight aerospace tolerances
- Carry out setting, measurement and inspection of components
- Identify and escalate production or quality issues
- Work closely with the wider manufacturing team to achieve production targets
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
Experience Required
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
Desirable Experience
- Breton 5-axis gantry machines
- Siemens 840D SL controls
- MSP for setting and measurement
- Machining composite materials
- Basic understanding of G-Code
- Experience using hand/air tools and cranes
