CNC Operator – Late Shift

Multi-Axis Milling / Turning | Varied Work | Flexible Late Shift

’m recruiting on behalf of an established precision company with over 25 years of manufacturing experience, producing complex components for industries including Aerospace, Formula One, Motorsport, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Renewable Energy, Oilfield and Defence.  They're looking to add a reliable CNC Operator to their late shift.

This is a great role for someone who is confident with the day-to-day running of CNC machines and enjoys varied precision engineering work rather than repetitive production.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the daily running of either multi-axis CNC milling centres or CNC turning centres, ensuring machines are operating efficiently and parts are produced to the required quality.

Duties will include:

• Running CNC milling or turning machines
• Loading and unloading components
• Carrying out basic checks and measurements
• Monitoring machine performance
• Making simple offsets / adjustments where required
• Maintaining quality throughout production
• Working independently on the late shift

What we're looking for

✔ Previous CNC operating experience
✔ Milling or turning background considered
✔ Multi-axis machine experience advantageous
✔ Confident working independently
✔ Reliable and consistent
✔ Able to read basic engineering drawings
✔ Comfortable using measuring equipment
✔ Good attitude and willingness to learn

Working Hours

Late shift – flexible

Hours can be discussed, with shifts available roughly between 3pm and 1am.

A Monday to Thursday, 4-day week can also be considered depending on the candidate.
