Job description:

CNC Setter / Operator

Temp to Perm | Immediate Start | 37-Hour Week

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer.

Duties:

• Set and operate CNC machines (Fanuc, Mazak/Mazatrol and Citizen/Mitsubishi controls)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Set tooling and fixtures
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment
• Complete quality documentation
• Maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' CNC setting and operating experience
• Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol and Mitsubishi controls
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail
• Quality-focused and reliable

Desirable:

• Lean Manufacturing / 5S knowledge
• Background in precision engineering
