This is an opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer or CNC Machinist to pass on their skills to apprentices.
Once trained, you'll spend your time delivering practical workshop sessions, teaching CNC programming and machining, assessing learners and helping develop the next generation of engineers.
No teaching experience is needed. If you've got solid CNC experience, full teacher and assessor training can be provided.
We're looking for someone with experience in:
- CNC Programming
- CNC Milling and/or Turning
- Setting and operating CNC machines
- Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
- Reading engineering drawings
- Safe workshop practices
Ideally you'll have:
- Level 3 Engineering qualification (or above)
- Good communication skills
- A desire to support and develop apprentices
Teaching or assessor qualifications are a bonus but not essential.
