  • Verify CNC programmes using Vericut where applicable.
  • Design basic fixtures and special workholding required for manufacture.
  • Produce basic CAD models and engineering drawings for internally designed tooling.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve programming and machining challenges.
  • Support improvements to machining methods, programme efficiency and production performance.

About You

We're looking for an experienced CNC professional with a strong understanding of machining and production engineering.

You'll ideally have:

  • A time-served production engineering or CNC machining background.
  • Strong experience with offline CNC programming and CAM software.
  • Experience programming 5-axis CNC milling machines using SolidCAM.
  • A sound understanding of machining methods, tooling and general production engineering.
  • Basic CAD modelling and drafting capability.
  • The ability to understand engineering drawings and translate requirements into effective machining programmes.
  • Experience with Vericut machine simulation and Fanuc controls would be advantageous but isn't essential.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications are preferred; however, candidates with significant practical industry experience will also be considered.

Why Join Beagle Aircraft?

This is an opportunity to use your programming and machining knowledge within a specialist aerospace manufacturing environment, working on complex precision components where engineering quality and manufacturing efficiency really matter.

You'll work closely with experienced Engineering and Manufacturing teams and have the opportunity to contribute to tooling, fixturing and machining improvements as well as CNC programming.
