As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
- Set, operate and programme CNC milling machines using ONECNC and on-machine programming techniques
- Complete a variety of machining tasks, from roughing through to precision finishing
- Select and maintain cutting and drilling tools, escalating wear issues where required
- Carry out inspection and measurement tasks in line with quality procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and support a clean, organised working environment to ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Carry out minor routine maintenance and support planned maintenance activities
As a CNC Programmer, your experience will include:
- Qualified through an Engineering Apprenticeship, City & Guilds, Level 3 NVQ or BTEC
- Proven experience operating CNC milling, turning and grinding equipment
- Experience programming CNC machines, ideally using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls
- Confident using Verniers, micrometres and other manual measurement equipment
- Background in precision engineering or manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach to work
