The company

T3AM Global are recruiting on behalf of a leading and well-established automotive engineering business based in Birmingham (B24).

The company has built a strong reputation within the automotive sector and works with some of the largest and most recognised names in the industry. With continued demand and a growing order book, the business is expanding its team and is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer - Milling to join its established workforce.

The role

A CNC Programmer - Milling is now required to develop, program, set, and operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision components to customer specifications.

You will work closely with engineering, design, and production teams to ensure programmes and machining processes consistently achieve the required standards.

You will take responsibility for:

· Creating, developing, and proving CNC milling programmes for production

· One off small batch work along with some larger volume production run

· Setting and operating CNC machinery for both manned and unmanned production

· Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications to achieve tight tolerances

· Selecting and monitoring tooling while identifying opportunities for process improvements

· Carrying out quality checks and ensuring components meet required specifications

· Supporting continuous improvement across machining processes and production


What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

* Proven experience in CNC milling and programming
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Experience setting and operating CNC machinery
* Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and tolerances
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

* Experience using Edgecam or similar CAM software
* Experience programming Hurco CNC machines
* Previous experience within automotive, precision engineering, or advanced manufacturing

* Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
* Monday - Friday day shift
* Standard hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm
