CNC Punch Operator – £14.00–£18.44 per hour

Fixed Shift Options | Immediate Starts | Overtime Available

We are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Punch Operators for a long-term manufacturing opportunity.

There are two fixed shift options available, allowing you to choose between a morning or night shift.

Shift Options & Pay

Morning Shift
06:00 – 14:30
Monday to Friday
£14.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Night Shift
22:00 – 06:00
Monday to Friday
£15.00 – £18.44 per hour, depending on experience

Overtime is available and paid at premium rates.

The Role

As a CNC Punch Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC punching machinery and producing high-quality sheet metal components to specification.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a range of Trumpf CNC Punch machines, 
• Setting up tooling and machinery for production
• Working from engineering drawings, templates and specifications
• Maintaining tooling and ensuring machinery operates efficiently
• Loading and unloading materials
• Working with fully automated material handling systems
• Carrying out quality checks on completed products
• Identifying and reporting any quality issues
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Complying with all health and safety standards across the shop floor

About You

We are looking for candidates with previous CNC Punching experience who can work accurately and efficiently within a manufacturing environment.

You should have:

• Previous experience operating CNC Punch machinery
• Good knowledge of CNC punching and sheet metal processes
• Experience setting and changing tooling
• Ability to work from engineering drawings, templates and specifications
• Good attention to detail and quality awareness
• Ability to identify and resolve basic production issues
• Good understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
• Reliable and hardworking approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
