CNC Setter/Operator
Location: Ferndown
Salary: £17ph - £20ph
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our growing precision engineering team in Ferndown. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines, ensuring high-quality components are produced efficiently and accurately.
CNC Setter/Operator - Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC turning machines
- Change tooling and adjust offsets as required
- Edit and prove out programs using Fanuc controls
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
CNC Setter/Operator - Requirements
- Previous CNC turning experience
- Ability to set and operate CNC lathes independently
- Experience editing programs on Fanuc controls
- Competent using micrometers, verniers and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
