Dayshift Role, 5.55am-5.40pm, working a 3 day week

Are you a CNC Setter Operator or CNC Machinist looking for a secure, long-term role with a well-established manufacturer where you will be properly supported in a close-knit team?

This is a permanent position on a consistent days shift pattern, joining a business known for its friendly culture and strong staff retention, offering a clean, modern site environment and the chance to build long-term stability.

In this role you will set and operate a range of CNC machine tools on the vertical milling section, working to fine tolerances and using hard gauging and CMM equipment to ensure quality.

You'll be machining stainless steels and heat resistant super alloys and using ISO programming as part of a methodical, detail-focused process.

This role would suit a CNC Setter/Operator from a precision manufacturing background, looking for a stable days-based position in a quality-focused environment.

The Role:

• Setup and operation on multi-axis CNC machine tools (vertical milling section)
• Quality checks using hard gauging and CMM equipment, working to fine tolerances
• Machining stainless steels and heat resistant super alloys
• Days shift pattern: Week 1 Mon-Wed, Week 2 Thu-Sat (5.55am-5.40pm)

The Person:

• Experience setting and operating in precision manufacturing
• Experience setting/operating Fanuc controlled CNC lathes and vertical machining centres
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
