CNC Programmer/Setter – Aerospace ManufacturingAre you an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter looking to join a well-established aerospace manufacturer that continues to invest in its people, machinery, and future growth?
Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join their busy manufacturing team in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a stable employer offering modern facilities, ongoing investment, and genuine career prospects.
The OpportunityWorking within a precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and optimising CNC machinery to produce high-quality aerospace components to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and optimise CNC programs for precision aerospace components
- Set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Program and set CNC lathes and machining centres using CAD/CAM software (training provided)
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and increase efficiency
- Ensure all work meets strict aerospace quality standards and tolerances
- Support production requirements while maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience within a highly regulated engineering sector
Friday: 7:30am – 12:00pm
