CNC Technician

Job Role: CNC Technician (Grinding)





Location: Bradford





Salary: £17.60 per hour



Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer in Bradford, who are looking for a CNC Technician (Grinding) to join their team.





Job Duties:

• Operate manual surface grinding machines and semi-automatic grinding equipment to manufacture high-precision components to exact specifications
• Measure and inspect components throughout production to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with quality standards
• Complete production documentation and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform minor machine maintenance and ensure equipment remains in safe, efficient working condition
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping while adhering to all health, safety, PPE and workplace regulations
• Work independently and collaboratively with supervisors and production colleagues to meet manufacturing targets and deadlines
• Support continuous production by contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the grinding department and developing CNC grinding skills where required

Job Requirements:

• CNC and Manual Grinding experience
• Apprentice trained or 5 years+ experience
• Experience within a precision engineering environment

Salary & Shift:

• £17.60 per hour
• Monday to Thursday, 7:45am - 4:30pm & Friday, 7:45am - 12:45pm
