Workshop Recruitment is supporting a well-established precision engineering business in Poole that is looking to add a skilled CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator to its c manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Turner seeking a permanent role with a 4-day working week, ongoing training, and genuine opportunities for progression.
Working within a modern, recently refurbished facility, the CNC Turner will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components across a variety of materials, from prototype work through to medium batch production.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC multi-axis lathes using Fanuc and Manual Guide.
- Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
- Produce parts in materials including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass and plastics.
- Carry out first-off and in-process inspections.
- Inspect and verify your own work using measuring equipment.
- Reset and change machines throughout the day as production demands.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation.
- Support efficient production across multiple machines when required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a CNC Turner within a subcontract engineering environment.
- Strong CNC programming experience using Fanuc and Manual Guide controls.
- Experience operating CNC lathes with bar feed systems.
- Ability to independently set and reset machines multiple times per shift.
- Competent using verniers, micrometers, thread gauges and other inspection equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Reliable, proactive and committed approach to work.

Hours & Location
- Monday to Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm
- 40 hours per week
