CNC Turner

Due to a continued growth we are recruiting a CNC Turner to join our leading client based near Huyton, Liverpool on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will ideally be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications however those with demonstrable experience will be considered.

Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate a range of CNC Lathes utilising Mazatrol or Fanuc controls. Candidates without programming experience will be considered and training will be provided.

Candidate will have worked with a variety of materials Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Castings and Forgings .

Shifts  – 40 hours per week

Week 1 Monday to Friday 6AM– 2PM

Week 2 – Monday – Thursday 2PM– 12PM 

Overtime paid at premium rates.

The Ideal candidates will have :

• Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances
• The ability to programme, set and operate CNC Lathes utilising Fanuc or Mazatrol controls
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. 

Candidate Skills

• Ideally Time-served with demonstrable experience programming and operating CNC Lathes working to very tight tolerances.
• Experience using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls  - Programming experience is preferred but candidates with experience in setting / editing will be considered
• Candidate will have worked with a variety of materials Stainless Steel and Mild Steel Castings and Forgings.
