CNC Turner

Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Rugby for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer, Setter and Operator to join their dedicated night shift team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a modern machine shop producing high-precision components across a range of industries, using Doosan Puma fixed head CNC lathes.

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Working on Doosan Puma fixed head lathes
• Editing and proving out CNC programmes
• Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Inspecting your own work using standard measuring equipment
• Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity

Requirements

• Previous experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes
• Experience with Doosan Puma machines is highly desirable
• Fixed head turning experience
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of precision engineering and tight tolerances
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
