CNC Turner - Permanent Nights

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their team on a permanent night shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist with strong CNC turning, setting and operating experience, looking for a long-term position with an established manufacturer.

Location: Rotherham

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality, precision components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating CNC lathes

• Producing precision components to engineering drawings

• Selecting and changing cutting tools and tooling

• Setting machine offsets and making adjustments where required

• Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks

• Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines

• Identifying and resolving basic machining issues

• Ensuring components meet required quality standards

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

The successful CNC Turner will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Machinist

• Strong CNC turning setting and operating experience

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Experience working to tight engineering tolerances

• Good knowledge of cutting tools, tooling and offsets

• Previous experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift
