CNC Turner Programmer

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join an established precision engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional looking for a long-term position with a company that offers genuine career progression.

The successful candidate will be responsible for offline programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.

The Role

• Creating and modifying offline CNC programmes using Alphacam
• Setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Working with Doosan and DMG NLX machines
• Programming and editing using Fanuc controls
• Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensuring components are manufactured to the required quality and tolerances
• Carrying out quality checks and using a range of measuring equipment
• Working efficiently to production schedules and deadlines
• Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer with:

• Proven experience in CNC Turning
• Strong offline programming experience using Alphacam - essential
• Experience with Doosan and DMG NLX machines - essential
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of precision engineering and machining tolerances
• A good eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team

Salary & Benefits

• £19.10 - £20.50 per hour, depending on experience
• 39 hours per week
• Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm
