A UK leading precision engineering company based in Watford are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer, Setter to join their team.

The Role - CNC Turner - Programmer, Setter
The company are looking for an engineer to program, set and operate their CNC Doosan Lathes. You will be producing high precision, one off and small batch volume components for the aerospace and automotive industry. 

Duties 

• Program, Set and operate CNC Lathes (Doosan or Puma or Nakamura).
• Machine to tight tolerances. 
• One off's and small batch work.
• Produce components from various general engineering and exotic materials. 

Requirements 

• Must have experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes (Ideally Doosans)
• Previous experience working within a high precision manufacturing environment. 
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. 
• Ideal candidate will have gantry loading twin turret lathe experience - we have a brand new machine coming next month.
