CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter & Operator – Fanuc – Permanent position.
4-DAY WEEK


Due to continued success, we are looking to recruit a CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator (Fanuc) with industry experience in a subcontracting environment to join our team in a recently refurbished factory.

CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter - The Role

  • Sub-contract precision engineering – mild steel, stainless steel, super duplex, brass, aluminium, and plastic manufacturing
  • Programming, Setting, and Operating (Fanuc) CNC multi-axis lathes
  • Manufacturing quantities from prototypes to medium batch runs
  • Inspecting you own work
  • Maintaining a clear workstation

CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter - The Ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in a subcontracting environment; a familiarity with frequent, daily changes
  • Good experience programming CNC multi-axis lathes (Fanuc)
  • Experience using CNC lathes with bar a feed system
  • The ability to change and reset machines multiple times per day, independently
  • Attention to detail; capable of detailed deburring and conducting first-off inspections using verniers, thread gauges and micrometres etc
  • Good work ethic: you’ll have demonstrated reliability, proactivity and loyalty in previous positions
  • Organised; the ability to multitask, looking after two machines, at any given time

Salary: Competitive rates of pay (up to £43K depending on skill level) – plus overtime and profit related bonus. Full pay review after 3 months with pay increase based on ability.

Hours: Full time, Permanent, 4-days a week 6.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday (40 hours).
