Leading CAD/CAM tooling solutions company, seeks a CNC Turner. Joining a long-serving team who are passionate about providing a first-class service to their customers, as CNC Turner you would be responsible for programming on the machine, setting and operating, whilst providing a personal, hands-on approach in each job manufactured.
Successful candidate for the position of CNC Turner would possess experience in Mori Seiki lathes and Fanuc controls, be self-motivated and able to work independently. Offered as a permanent contract, the role of CNC Turner offers market competitive salary, company benefits and immediate start.
CNC Turner duties include:
- Programme, set and operate a Mori Seiki CNC lathe
- Create and develop CNC programmes directly on the machine using Fanuc controls
- Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all work
- Maintain machine cleanliness, tooling condition and safe working practices
- Interpreting project blueprints and engineering specifications
Skills and attributes required by successful candidate for the role of CNC Turner:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Programme, Set and Operate)
- Strong capability with Fanuc controls and Mori Seiki machinery
- Flexibility with milling is advantageous
- A real team player, with pride in one’s work and a desire for success
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Location: Willenhall, West Midlands
Hours of work: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 12:30pm Friday
Salary: £18 per hour x 39-hour week - negotiable dependent upon experience
Benefits: Pension, Overtime at time & third, Leisurebank (additional annual leave)
