CNC Wood Machinist

A wood machinist sets up, operates, and maintains precision woodworking and CNC machinery to craft internal frame components for furniture manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up and run CNC routers, saws, and precision woodworking equipment to cut, shape, and finish timber components.
- Technical Compliance: Read and follow production specifications, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished wooden parts to ensure they meet exact measurements and high manufacturing standards.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine tool adjustments, change cutterheads or blades safely, and keep the work area clean in line with health and safety rules.
- Material Handling: Select, measure, and handle timber raw materials efficiently for production
- Experience setting up or operating wood machinery or CNC routers in a factory environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications.
- Strong focus on workplace safety and attention to detail.
- A reliable, team-oriented approach to a busy manufacturing workshop
