Coachbuilder in Greater Manchester

Monday to Friday, standard days , full training and ongoing support provided to further develop your skill set. Full-time permanent position, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, bonus scheme, and excellent long-term career prospects.

Basic salary up to £17.00 per hour for the Coachbuilder role, depending on experience, with salary reviews and progression opportunities based on skills development and performance.

Location of the Coachbuilder position is Centre of Manchester.

The Coachbuilder is working for a company that have an extensive order book with plenty of overtime available and bonus opportunities. They are a leading name in their sector that have a reputation for quality and innovation.

What background you will have?

Ideally, you will have worked in some capacity building or repairing vehicles: Trailers, busses ambulances, motor homes, vans. Have relevant qualifications (not essential)

Duties of the Coachbuilder position:

• Fitting and installing vehicle flooring, side panels, brackets, and other components.
• Carrying out light fabrication work to required specifications.
• Completing light assembly tasks as part of the vehicle build process.
• Reading and following engineering drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensuring all work is completed to quality standards and production deadlines.
• Always maintaining a safe and tidy work area.
• Supporting the build of vehicles from initial assembly through to final completion.
